In this second entry of the week we will talk about equipment for printing cards and designs . We will show you some current models with Inkjet and Toner system, showing you their characteristics so that you can evaluate which is your best option.
As we mentioned before, there are different aspects to consider, but the important ones are: the grammage because it indicates the size/weight of the paper that it can print, the quality of the image and what its resolution will be on the paper Y the ink system this influences the cost of the equipment, the replacement and how the printer will behave on different surfaces. This is not the only thing to consider, but it is the most relevant to perform these jobs.

After we know these qualities of our printer we can move on to the next part, how will we do the printing process?
1. The first thing we must verify is the size of our paper , because there are printers that allow B4 sizes, among others, and there are others that are configured for 8.5"x11" and when they detect a paper with lesser characteristics, they reject it.
2. The grammage , which is the allowed weight according to the type of paper, the allowed grammage for photo paper is not the same as for card stock, and if you are working with a non-permitted grammage , errors will occur with the printer.
3. Remember that each ink reacts differently on the surface of the paper , so it is extremely important to know how the ink will behave on your paper and which equipment suits your needs.
4. Take into account the design made , since depending on the paper you must give different specifications to your printer, which will cause variations in your printing and you must adapt them to the printing support.
After these specifications, we hope that you will reach your own conclusions about which printer models to purchase, and which one you need for your office work.
